Android 4.0命名为Ice Cream Sandwich（冰淇淋三明治），是谷歌发布的新一代操作系统。Android 4.0将只提供一个版本，同时支持智能手机、平板电脑、电视等设备。并且设计了全新UI人性化体验界面，升级Linux内核到3.0以上版本。

Android 4.0系统内置了全新的壁纸，在使用手机上的触摸按钮时会出现发光效果，并且增加了语音输入、照片编辑、流量监测、AndroidBeam等全新的功能。值得一提的是，Android4.0还增加了面部识别解锁功能，通过摄像头识别人脸后，程序将会判断是否对手机解锁，如果不是机主本人，系统将会做出响应提示。
