VMware发布了一个解决方案，让iPad的企业用户可以直接从平板上用触控的方式使用自己的Windows电脑。该应用被称为VMware View app，专门用于企业用户连接自己的办公电脑或数据中心，该程序可在3G和Wi-Fi模式下进行连接，利用特殊的手势实现对Windows桌面的管理，同时还支持蓝牙iPad物理键盘甚至是可以通过iPad VGA适配器将视频信号传送到外部监视器和投影仪。

这种新程序采用VMware最新的PCoIP协议来传送信号，提升了显示效果，不过Windows PC上需要安装VMware 4.6版客户端软件，这款解决方案有60天的免费试用版本。
